| Holiday Greetings!
Wow! That was fast! Winter has hit us with a cold spell
that taxes even our warm hospitality! But don't fear. We'll throw
another log on the fire, mull some wine, and snuggle in for an
evening of comfort and joy. The Intimate Season has arrived!
Winter really is a beautiful time to visit Toronto. The holiday
lights (you'll find Toronto keeps them up longer than most places!),
the fresh dusting of snow each morning, muffling the natural sounds
of the city. Stars shine brighter, and there's no lineup at the CN
Tower. Come see for yourself!

| TDBAB Reunion in the UK |
 |
Probably the best night of our B&B lives was
November 11, 2005!
After a too-brief visit to Florence and Venice, and laden
down with six bottles of Limoncello from the source, we
boarded the Orient-Express for an overnight to London, then a
commuter train to Newark-on-Trent. There on the platform, we
were met by Sarah and Richard, our hosts for what was to
become the most amazing weekend, ever.
We chose northern England to be within a few hours' drive
of our many British guests, but all previous "alumni" of TDBAB
were invited. Twenty-nine came. Some, from as far away as San
Francisco, Nanaimo, Denver and Pittsburg, just to have a drink
and meet other amazing people who share TDBAB experiences.
Others arrived from all over the UK, and the party (and Lemon
Drops) went on till the wee hours. Pictures
of the party here!
Our trip continued in Hurley, with a reunion of six other
alumini who couldn't make it on the 11th, and then to
Maidenhead, for another reunion, this time with Rog's family
there, the first time in 14 years.
Then to London, where six of our alumni lay in wait for
more touring, and partying. All told, it was greatest trip
we've ever shared, and yes, we're already planning the next
TDBAB Reunion! Don't miss it!
