Greetings!

Spring is back! Actually, we've even felt a couple days of summer so far, just enough to remind us the best is yet to come.

In our last newsletter, we spoke of the special joy of having repeat guests, and this year that number has increased to a full 50% of our total - quite a remarkable milestone and certainly a factor in why we love this "business" so much!

With that, however, comes the increasing frequency with which we have to say, "Drat! There's no room in the inn!" to many of our friends. So please, if you are contemplating a return to Toronto this season, please, please let us know as soon as you can. We love making new friends, but we can't stand the thought of missing old ones!

If you aren't planning a return right away, please at least drop us a note to say hi and let us know what's new in your life. We'd love to hear from you!

    Last call for Mamma Mia!

MAMMA MIA! is a musical love story that crosses continents and generations. After a 3-year run, the international smash-hit musical based on the songs of ABBA is dancing out of town on May 22. We can still get great VIP House Seats for most remaining performances, so don't miss it!

    Evita

Winner of seven Tony awards, EVITA brings to life the dynamic, larger-than- life persona of Eva Peron, wife of Argentine dictator, Juan Peron. Eva Peron, blessed with charisma, captivated a nation by championing the working class. Exuberant Latin, pop and jazz influences create a gripping theatrical experience as told through a compelling score by Andrew Lloyd Webber. One of the most popular collaborations between Webber and Tim Rice, this legendary musical features the memorable song Don't Cry for Me Argentina. April 27 to May 29, 2005

    Wicked is coming back!

Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for the most spellbinding new musical in years. An instant sell out in its Spring 2005 run, WICKED is returning for a short engagement in 2006. We can get VIP House Seats tickets for our guests now, and, your room rate will be guaranteed! Oct 7 - Nov 19, 2006

    New York

Our newest adventures have been travelling with our guests! January took us, and a couple of favourite frequent guests from Madison, to New York for a Broadway fix (Avenue Q), giving us the opportunity to meet some of our favourite NYC guests for brunch and introduce everyone all around.

    Cleveland

A cold weekend in March found us jetting down to Cleveland for a warm welcome from another couple of favourite frequent guests, and a backgrounder for our coming trip to Vietnam.

    Vietnam & Thailand

Cold weather was a distant memory for this trip in March/April to a part of the world steeped in ancient, and modern, history. Possibly one of our greatest ever vacations, we took over 2000 photos.See the best 1990 of them here!

Travelling with guests, and meeting guests in their own home areas, has been so much fun for us, that we want to do it again this fall.

We have 36 sets of favourite guests from the UK, and 12 of them within a very short drive to Stoke-on-Trent, the North/Midlands area where Josiah Wedgwood founded his famous pottery business. What could be a more appropriate venue for a TDBAB reunion?

So, please join us! You don't have to be British to join the party. We'll pick a pub and get together on either Friday Nov 11 or Saturday Nov 12, lift a pint or two, and introduce you to some of the finest people on earth: our Guests!

Drop us an e-mail if you think you can make it, and we'll keep you up to date on the plans as they finalize.

E-mail us today! Join us in November! »
