Greetings!
It's Summer! We wait all year for this, the
season when we vow never again to complain about snow.
Although the weather may be hot, Toronto remains a
"cool" place to visit, anytime! And Toronto Downtown Bed
and Breakfast is your air-conditioned respite in the
City.
Summer in TO is always packed with things to do. A
typical 3-day visit just won't give you enough time to
discover even the highlights, so plan now on a week!
See you soon! Rog & Jim
| Welcome,
Rochester! |
 |
 Toronto's
newest suburb is Rochester NY - now just a short
ferry ride away.
The Breeze, as the new luxury
high-speed ferry has been christened,
begins service this month, with three roundtrips
daily. It's a 2- 1/2hr crossing at 50 m.p.h., with
onboard restaurant and bars, two movie theatre
rooms with giant plasma screen televisions, 38
televisions with satellite TV connection
throughout the ship, wireless internet access,
duty-free shopping, games room, outfitted
children's play area and business class lounge
with fax/phone.
The passengers' only complaint: It's too short
a ride!

| Rog & Jim in South
Africa |
 |
We've visited many places on this earth, but
none so moving as South Africa. It is
difficult to put into a few short words the 2-week
experience that has left us both overwhelmed and
changed forever.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
And so, we took a thousand pictures. A few of them
are here. Join us, and you'll see
why.
We are particularly grateful to the generosity
of our hosts at every stop. You'll find links to
them, as well, in our travelogue and we can most
enthusiastically endorse them all.

| Weddings - a time we
love to love |
 |
It
started with ours, a year ago. And now, ten
weddings later, it's become a big part of our
business, and our life.
With an avowed objective to take the stress out
of the formula, TDBAB had handled
both bride & bride, groom
& groom and bride & groom
weddings from two to 50
guests. Each has been a beautiful
occasion, and we look more to
several more already booked this
summer and fall.
We've added a few pages to our ever-growing Web
site (over 150 in total, now!), to showcase some
of the food services now available for receptions
at TDBAB. Thanks to professional photographer Noah Fallis, we have some mouth-watering shots of caterer
Dana Zangari's creative talents - reason
enough to get married!
Trust TDBAB to handle all the details for you,
in your budget, and with class. All that's missing
from a wedding at TDBAB is the stress!
