know Fran filled up most of a page in the guest book in our
room telling you of the many ways you made our stay with you an
exceptional B&B experience -- which it was. But I feel compelled
to add some remarks of my own.
I want to comment on the invaluable bonus provided by the two of
you yourselves. Besides being marvellous hosts in general, you are
frankly unique (in our somewhat extensive B&B experiences) in
anticipating your guests' likely needs and desires--and then fulfilling
them without even being asked to do so. For example, from our mere
mention of several Toronto glass galleries that we wanted to visit,
Jim placed a call to Betty Ann Jordan to identify the name of Toronto's
most prominent resident glass artist, researched her bio on the
internet, downloaded her listing of awards and museum placements,
and presented us with a computer printout of the foregoing together
with pictures of the artist's work and the location of the her studio.
Very impressive!
Secondly, both of you are the only B&B owners ever
whom we would delight in going on vacation with -- sightseeing with
Roger, shopping with Jim and camaraderie all around!
Many thanks again for a memorable 5 days at the Toronto Downtown
B&B.
